Today, I have some tips for people who use bullet journals and people who use planners, so if you have a planner, then you can skip ahead to where I talk about my planner tips.
Bullet Journaling
A great way to create a bullet journal layout faster is to make a stencil for it, which you can just trace every time you want it. This works best for a page that you do over and over again, like a weekly page.- This would be just the basic format and then you can embellish it and decorate it how you want it to look like.
- To make a stencil for you weekly or other pages you want to repeat over and over again, all you need is a piece of cardstock, a pen, and some scissors.
- Take your piece of cardstock and place it under the page you want to make the stencil for.
- Retrace over the page you want to make a stencil for, pressing in hard so it will appear on your piece of cardstock.
- Then take the page out and fill in the indents with a pen or pencil.
- Cut out the bits you are going to trace over and over again.
There you have it, that is how you make a stencil for bullet journaling! I wouldn't recommend making a stencil for a page that you are probably only going to use once. That will take away time from your day instead of adding to it.
Planner
If you are using a planner, then you could always have a bunch of backup pages, so you don't have to reprint out that page over and over again.Another great way to speed up the process of making a page is to use a multi-use stamp and ink set. You can find some really cute ones at multiple places.
You can also buy planner stencils or use stickers!
