You open your journal, grab a pen, and sit down on a comfy chair. A fire is in the fireplace, and you have a cup of hot chocolate. The mood is just perfect for journaling. Then you open your journal to a blank page and put your pen to paper. Nothing. What did you even do today? Do you really have anything to journal about? Here are 183 journal prompts you can use so you don't run out of what to write about for the next six months!

We've all been there. Don't tell me you haven't! A blank journal page. Absolutely no ideas for what to write about. You don't really want to write "Today, I went to work" or "Today, is Monday" again, do you?
I started using journal prompts around a month ago, and I am loving it because now when I sit down to write, I already have a writing prompt that I can go off of.
Recommended Post - How to Effortlessly Start Journaling Daily (Create the Habit Now)
When I was looking for journaling prompts, I knew that I wanted enough to last me for a whole year, but it was really hard to find a post that contained 365 writing prompts. (Now I know why, haha) Finally, I did find one that was what I was looking for: 365 Mindfulness Journal Prompts for Adults. (Print those ones out and follow along with me as I do them this year if you want. 😊)
Next year though, I will need more journaling prompts to use so I decided to make my own list of journal prompts. I figured I'd write a whole post on this because people usually like to have options and because I kind of want to see if I can come up with 365 questions! 😂
Around a quarter of the way through, I realized that thinking of 365 questions is a ton of work, so instead, I decided to do 183 journal prompts because then you can use these journal prompts for the next six months.
Copy and paste all of these prompts into a Google Doc, and then print them out, come back to this post every day, or scroll to the bottom for a free printable. Let's get right into the journal prompts you can use for the next six months!
